Terms

When you have made a reservation with us, you agree on the following terms:

Estimated time of arrival:
The time of arrival after 9.00 depends on the duration of our previous jobs that day. We can arrive an hour before or one hour after the agreed time of arrival. If the change of arrival time is more than two hours (one hour before or one hour after agreed time of arrivel), we will contact you by phone on the day you have an appointment with us.

Tax:
All named prices are excluded 19% tax.

Payment:
At the end of the job, you’ll pay cash to the driver. The driver can write a voucher for you on which he can specify what we did for you, the costs and the taxes. We can always send you an official invoice afterwards if needed. Please let us know ahead.

Only business-clients will be able to pay by invoice afterwards. In that case we will receive the number of “Kamer van Koophandel” before the day of the appointment.

Size van:
You as a client will make an estimation of what size van is needed. Our office can advice you by phone. We advice you to make a calculation using our “m3-calculator” which you’ll be able to find on our website. When the your estimation is incorrect, we can consider to make an extra trip (we will charge twice the fare) or we can apply another van if available.

“Curb to Curb Service”:
For this special service you'll pay only €45 to €55 (excluded tax).
You can only apply for our “Curve to Curve Service” when you meet the following obligations:
1. Is only for students to move (show valid studentpass) or when it concerns the transportation of 1 item
2. Is only possible with a van of 10m3
3. Is only possible within Amsterdam
4. The move/transport must take place within 1 hour from the moment you’ll start loading, until the unloading is done.
When it takes longer than 1 hour, we will charge €6,25 per 15 minutes after the first hour.

Assurance:
Possible damage to your goods or otherwise is assured, as long as your belongings are packet transport-worthy, with an excess of €500 for the client. You can buy off this excess for €45 a day by paying this before the day we’ll work for you. Payment: forward this money to 512162956 in name of “Vrachttaxi” by mentioning of the date of the move, the time of arrival and the first address. Glass, and piano’s are not assured.
ATTENTION: When we are hoisting for you, you CAN'T buy off the excess of €500 for the client. Only when we use the lift, you can buy off the excess of €500 for the client.

Storage:
You can store your belongings with us, but only when we take care of the transportation. Your belongings are not accesable during the time of storage.

After the first month:
10m3: €75 per month
15m3: €85 per month
20m3: €95 per month

Prices are excluded 19% tax
You can store your belongings for €45 excluded 19% tax.

Quotation:
We work on an hour-bases. The duration of a move depends on factors as your preparation, from what floor to what floor we’ll have to transport your belongings, the distance between A and B and the traffic. For that reason, we’ll never give a quote ahead. We can make a rough estimation for you which however isn’t binding.

Hoisting or lift:
In principle we’ll not move over stairs, only when there’s no other way. In that case you’ll need at least 2 movers when one or both addresses are on the first floor, and 3 movers when one or both addresses are above the first floor. When we’ll going to hoist for you, you need to provide access to the floor where the hook is, to hang our equipment. Our pulley block is free for use, as long as we’ll hoist for you.
ATTENTION: When we are hoisting for you, you CAN'T buy off the excess of €500 for the client. Only when we use the lift, you can buy off the excess of €500 for the client.

Placing the lift:
The lift needs to stand at a specific area to be able to operate. It stands three meters out of the house front and will need 2,5 x 2,5 meter from there to stand. So, when you would have a curve of 6 meters wide, the lift will fit totally on the curve. We can place the lift also partly on a bike-lane, a parking place or on the road, but you are responsible to apply for the needed space to place the lift. The lift needs to stand straight in front of the window. So when on that spot is a tree, a lamppost or another object, we’ll not be able to put up the lift. Officially you need to ask for a permit to place a lift. You can do this at your City Hall. It takes more or less 5 workdays before the City Hall provides you your permit. When you don’t apply for a permit, we’ll come anyhow, but it will be on your own risk. When you’ll disturb the traffic drastically by placing the lift, it’s advisable to apply for a permit. For further questions concerning the lift, you can always call us.

Cancelling:
You can only cancel without costs by mail, if it is done at least 48 hours before the date of the reservation.
Cancelling after 48 hours of the reservation moment, we will charge:
- Van: half the price of the ride
- Lift: €40 and half the price for the call out charge (outside Amsterdam)
- Movers: 2 hours for the men

Calculation manhours:
Within Amsterdam: the manhours are calculated from the moment we’ll start loading, until the unloading is done.
When one of the addresses is outside of Amsterdam: the manhours are calculated from the moment we’ll start loading (or the moment we’ll drive away from Amsterdam), until we’re back in Amsterdam (or the unloading is done in Amsterdam).
When both addresses are outside Amsterdam: we’ll calculate the hours from the moment we’ll drive away from Amsterdam, till we’re back in Amsterdam.
At the second adress, where you'll pay cash to our driver, we'll estimate the time needed to drive back to Amsterdam. This will be expressed in manhours.

Extra charge weekend:
On saturday as well as on sunday we charge 25% on top of all prices.
